Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey is an African American author. Her most well-known work is as the ex-wife to comedian Steve Harvey. She decided to keep her private life secretive and away from the media. Steve was not able to attain the fame and fortune he's currently enjoying, however they were married for 14 years. The reasons behind the couple splitting up were never known and there have been rumors of it being heard throughout Hollywood. Some believe that Steve Harvey was cheating, while others blame him for deciding to pursue comedy as his field of work. Her tragic past is believed to be due to Steve's abandonment of her as well as her daughters when she was pregnant with her third child. Despite all the challenges she was able to create a successful career as a writer and fashion designer. She is the writer of  Marcia's Eyes To The Soul, 'Marcia's Poems From The Heart, and Marcia's Thoughts From The Mind. Her generosity has brought joy to her kids. Marcia Harvey was raised in an African-American home and has a poor financial situation. She started her career in an outlet store known as "Saks Fifth Avenue". She became acquainted with Steve just a few years later at a reception for a mutual friend's event. They got married and they were married in the year 1980. Steve was working as an insurance salesman that moment and the couple was blessed with twin girls in 1982. Steve was disillusioned with his job and wanted to be entertainer, particularly stand-up comedy. This caused a lot of friction between him and Marcia and later reports suggested that they were beginning to break up by the year 1990. Marcia Harvey was famous for her divorce from Steve Harvey and marriage. Although the details of their divorce from 1994 are kept secret, it is certain that Marcia was pregnant with their third baby when things fell apart. Marcia filed for divorce in 1993. Marcia was forced by Steve Harvey's refusal pay the child support or alimony following her divorce.
