Big Time Rush

Big Time Rush is an American pop group was formed in the year 2009. The group is made up of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They first signed with Nick Records in 2009. Then, Columbia Records transferred them to their new label. The group was featured in Nickelodeon's TV series with the same name, Big Time Rush. The show aired from November 28th, 2009 to July 25 the 25th of July, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's first single promo, "Big Time Rush". The band released three studio albums, BTR in 2010, Elevate 2011 , and 24/Seven in 2013. The group in 2014 took an indefinite break which lasted until 2021. The group then resumed live performances and then released "Call it Like I See The Album". Nickelodeon has signed Big Time Rush to an album deal in the year 2009, alongside its TV series, Big Time Rush. Nickelodeon joined forces with Columbia/Epic Label Group in order to create the series and also provide new music. Their first single, "Big Time Rush" appeared on the series' November 29th 2009. Officially released on Nickelodeon the song first aired in the U.S. November 2009 and was later broadcast across the world. The series premiered on a special preview of the show. It is currently the show’s opening theme. The show also saw release of promotional singles such as "City is Ours" and "Any Kind of Guy". Big Time Rush also covered the Play song "Famous", which was written by the singer. It was released on iTunes on the 29th of June, 2010, The second track, "Halfway There", was released to iTunes shortly after the premiere of the show. They soon made it their first charting track on the Billboard Hot 100. It hit 93 on the list thanks to digital sales. To launch the release of their debut album, Big Time Rush released "Till I Forget About You" on September 21, 2010. The album, titled BTR It was released on October 11, 2010. The album climbed to number 3 on the Billboard 200 and sold 67,000 copies within the first week.
