Anna Kendrick
Anna Kendrick was the daughter of Janice
Cooke, a bookkeeper, as well as William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke
Kendrick is her older brother, and was also an actor. Anna Kendrick is
Scottish, Irish and born in England. The actress received nominations for the
Tony Award (second youngest ever) as well as the Drama Desk Award and the Fany
Award (best actress in the musical). She was awarded the Drama League Award and
Theatre World Award for her performance. Alongside Scott Ellis and Susan Stroman
she was able to collaborate with Jeremy Irons at the New York City Opera House.
She was the character Fredrika in the film "A Little Night Music" and
also worked with Todd Graff on the feature film Camp (2003). Following the 1991
Tony award winner Daisy Eagan, she was the second-youngest nominated. George
Clooney ridiculed her in the NYC Opera House, along with Jeremy Irons and
choreographer Susan Stroman. She also appeared in "Jane Eyre" as well
as "The Little Princess" for Broadway. In 1998, Jason Reitman cast
her in Up in the Air. After watching her performance on Rocket Science (2007).
The only actress from the Twilight Saga to receive an Oscar. In 2010 she was
nominated for her role as Natalie Keener for the second and third seasons of
the show. She graduated from Deering High School in Portland, Maine in 2003.
London was in which she was filming Into the Woods (2014). September 2013: Has
the distinction of appearing in three major musicals on screen including Into
the Woods (2014).
