Deborah Rhea Seehorn Bio

 Deborah Rhea Seehorn (born May 12 1972) is an American actress from the United States. Her most famous role is the role of Kim Wexler, an attorney in AMC's Better Call Saul (2015-2018) in which she received two times the Satellite Award as Best Supporting Actress (Series, Miniseries or Television Film. Also, she was in the NBC miniseries Whitney (2011)-2013 as well as ABC's I'm with Her(2003)-2004 and TNT's Franklin & Bash (2011)-2014. Deborah Rhea Seehorn, a Norfolk native was born on 12 May in 1972. Her mother worked as an executive assistant to the United States Navy, while her father was an agent with the Naval Investigative Service; her family moved often during her childhood, residing in Washington, D.C. and Arizona in addition to in Japan. She followed in the footsteps of her father and grandmother by learning about architecture, painting and drawing at a young age. She continued to pursue the visual arts, however, she had an increased interest in acting and was exposed to contemporary theatre in the college. In 1994 she graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art. Seehorn started her college career as an actor, and was inspired by her acting professor. To get noticed, she worked in various ancillary roles within D.C.'s theatre industry. Although she eventually managed to get major roles in local theater productions and had to take on odd jobs in order in order to survive and make ends meet, she continued to work in the field of film as a teacher filmmaker. She soon began to be involved in more TV productions. It was common for her to be compared to Bea Arthur, who she described as "very funny," "sarcastic, and well-educated" women. The majority of her roles were cancelled after only one or two seasons. Seehorn was chosen to play Better Call Saul, the Breaking Bad spinoff series. Seehorn is Kim Wexler, who is an attorney and the lover of Jimmy McGill/Saul (Bob Odenkirk).
