Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th, 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American TV show 24. Motion capture and voice work was also used for Tess in Naughty Dog’s videogame The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She went to the high school of Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. As a child she competed as an Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she received in 1999. Wersching began her acting career by appearing as an actor on Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to play guest roles on shows like Charmed as well as Killer Instinct, Charmed and Supernatural. From March to November 2007, she played the role as Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap drama General Hospital. She also appeared in theatres such as Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire, as well as the Utah Shakespearean Festival.Wersching was FBI Special Agent Renee Walker in the seventh and eighth seasons of 24.After her two-season run on 24 Wersching was a guest on several shows such as CSI, NCIS, Rizzoli and Isles Hawaii Five-0, Body of Proof, Dallas, Revolution, Castle, Blue Bloods, The Vampire Diaries and Touch (which features her 24 co-star Kiefer Sutherland). In 2014, she was the regular series star for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009's Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was discovered that Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Geoff Keighley teased her character on Twitter before she was revealed in the Spike Video Game Awards story trailer on December 7th, 2012. Wersching was to play the role of the Borg Queen in Star Trek: Picard in September 2021.
